Rural development grants totaling more than $99,000 have been awarded to two recipients in West Virginia.
The Marshall University Research Corp. will receive $49,837 to develop a catalog to help state agencies, nonprofits and entrepreneurs understand the state's agricultural economy.
The Wayne County Economic Development Authority will receive $50,000 to develop a center for agriculture, wellness and rural enterprise. The center is planned as an agricultural hub with a farm training center.
